“Small town, small market.” That’s what you might think but when you visit the Olde Towne Curb Market in historic downtown Smithfield, Virginia, that’s not what you find. This unique farmer's market has enjoyed 5 years of successful operation with over 30 vendors. It is packed with enthusiastic crowds every Saturday of the season.
This Week at the Market
Live Music - This Month of July, three of our Talented Musicians will play on to provide an array of tunes while you shop, eat, and socialize. Watch-out for: Bob Strozak (July 5 & 26),Win Winslow (July 12) & Taylor D'Etcheverry (July 19).

Not only does our market feature produce but shoppers are entertained by live music as they purchase items such as delicious baked goods, hand- painted garden items, wonderfully fragrant goat’s milk soaps, hand-turned wooden treasures, herbs, orchids, fresh flowers and yes, you guessed it: live animals, including alpacas! The market opens in May and continues every Saturday morning from 9 to 12 through the end of August. Specialty markets are held in October, November and December.
